Acting as Principal Contractor for Iceland in a 2 phase refrigeration project comprising construction of a new chill coldstore and cold store extension within a live distribution centre. This project was logistically challenging on noise, disruption to existing facilities. We also carried out extensive toilet and colleague area refurbishments during the project.
Over 550,000 sqft of warehouse fitting out carried out over a year on site, for Iceland’s latest distribution centre in Warrington. The project consisted of the fit out of 3 chambers (Frozen coldstore, chilled coldstore and ambient storage) including fitting out 3 levels of office, Vehicle Maintenance Unit as well Transport Hubs. A huge project delivered in a challenging programme.
