Managing Director, Adam Turner has over 35 years experience in the industry, focusing on retail, commercial and industrial construction.

A qualified chartered surveyor, he looks after all commercial aspects of the business and has built a strong reputation in performance delivery and relationship management based on an open, flexible attitude.

Adam prides himself on forging long term relationships, having worked with key clients including, Waitrose and Safestore, for over 15 years.

Robert Gott has over 20 year’s experience in residential, commercial and retail construction. Before founding UC Build, Rob built a successful career – rising quickly from an assistant site manager to project managing multi-million pound schemes.

Rob is responsible for all operational aspects of the business and is the lead for health & safety and our environmental impact. His strengths lie in building strong relationships all along the supply chain and his ability to provide adaptable solutions, before any problems arise.

Economics degree-educated Ross progressed quickly through the project management ranks to lead large scale projects, before running his own groundworks business for 5 years.

Ross reports directly to the Board and manages our key, repeat order accounts. He has developed great relationships with our long-term clients based on his proactive and transparent approach to delivery.  His experience, primarily focused on Retail Construction, meant he has developed real expertise working with existing retail spaces, to ensure efficient projects with the minimum of disruption.

With other 30 years’ experience in pre-construction, development projects as well as retail and living space projects, David provides a wealth of experience in delivering our more complex projects.

Since joining UCBuild in 2015, Bryony has developed her technical skills to become the lead director for our Quality and Compliance systems. With a true eye for detail, she ensures full consistency across our technical delivery.  Bryony also heads up our pre-contract department and manages the securing of projects via tender.

Byrony’s experience across design team and design process management, in Retail and Commercial fit out projects, has led to developing quality management systems that ensure consistent process delivery of our projects

Gemma looks after all things Money in and money out.  And she does that well!!

Abby has been with UCBuild since our inception and cost manages our high profile food retail projects with clients such as Iceland, Waitrose and John Lewis.  She delivers great work based on a detailed approach to cost and procurement as well as excelling on team relations.

From a shop fit background Ryan has a particular love of our retail projects.  This guy loves cost management and shops & supermarkets

With a background and grounding in living space projects, Craig manages our living space projects as well as student accommodation.

Many many years’ experience managing multiple food retail projects, Martin delivers multiple retail projects, as well as teams, for our retail clients.

Jo manages process and supply chain.  She keeps our processes tight and our quality tighter!

As a multi-skilled craftsman, Richard is employed as our aftercare managing ensuring all our projects are snag free before handover.

When it comes to Key Construction Managers, Jake falls into to this category clearly.  His key skills enable him to slide into projects seamlessly with high standards of H&S on site as well as becoming a firm client favourite.

Tom has been with UCB many years and started as a young assistant.  Now managing our complex projects.

One of most senior and respected managers.  There is nothing Gavin, has not experienced on construction projects.  He is a true mentor for our younger managers.

Being a professional and diligent construction manager, Brad manages many of our key special projects.  He creates great teams, great relationships and great standards.

William joined as an assistant construction manager and settled in very well.  William manages a variety of projects and has expertise in our self-storage projects

Leon has worked up from apprentice to construction manager and looks after a huge variety of projects and one of our most dependable managers.

Sam joined us in 2024 as a young PM and since then delivered commercial projects of varying complexity.

With more than 30 years’ experience in Main Contracting, Adrian leads our estimating team and is responsible for pricing our projects right as well as competitive.

Pat recently joined us after 27 years at a large main contractor.  RICS qualified, Pat leads our cost team on all southern projects and ensures commercial performance on our projects as well as client satisfaction is maintained and grown.  A self confessed “old dog”, Pat is our safest pair of hands on the commercial aspects on everything we deliver.

Matthew has been with UCB since 2023 and supports our estimating team.  A young estimator delivering results.

Maria manages many of our systems as well as keeping our sites replenished with key supplies.

Document control is the absolute fulcrum for planning project success.  Nerissa delivers this control seamlessly.
