UC Build completed works on the new Safestore domestic storage facility at Carshalton. A 24 week construction programme saw the facility, including a 3 level mezzanine and offices complete. We removed a 15,000m3 VictorianGasometer and ancillary buildings whilst working on site. Throughout this project we maintained careful management of noise and rust within the residential surroundings.
The site has been nominated for an award for the CCS.

A 26 week build on a Victorian Industrial site with contaminated landto produce the new Safestore storage centre.
A 48 week steel frame build, redesigned to meet the clients budget and delivered within programme.
A 17 week full construction management project to convert an existing building, Meridian House, to a self-storage facility including the installation of a single-tier mezzanine and 12 external storage units.
A 3 level internal mezzanine structure was installed, fitted out to our clients standard, including reception ares, toilets and kitchen areas.
